and you follow your heart
be careful not to let faux love bind you,
or you may be torn apart.

Love and logic,
are often at war
but when they are at peace,

if you let it be

life is what you make of it,
make is something you want to do.

and you may not like the results.

No, for it is the smile of the elderly.
But young I still am.
It just means that although I am young of age,

You are in your own control,
on your own accord is what everything you do is,
unless and but are only excuses,
right or wrong it was done of your own accord,
only if you were misled,
were played like a pawn is it not your fault,
now it is unfortunate when that happens, but it could still be your fault,
for if one tells you to do something unjust,
and it is done by your own hands,
unwillingly or not,
lone or with company, it was your fault that it was done,
the things you caused are your fault and your fault alone.

Poetry is a part of me,
a part of my soul,
a part of my sea.

Poetry is a part of my years,
a part of my joy,
a part of my tears.

Poetry helps me get through life,
write my story,
end my strife.

Poetry is me,
is my soul,
is my sea.

STRENGTH

Inner strength is
the ability to resist temptation.
the ability to do the right thing.
the ability to keep on going when it seems there is nothing left.
the ability to abide by your past decisions.
the ability to admit your faults and mistakes.
the ability to see yourself for who you truly are.

WHO AM I?

Who am I?
is the question nagging at my heart.

Who I am,
This is me,
Who I have been and will always be.

But who is this,
Sitting in my chair,
Writing this poem with every care?

Is it Zaqplmsk,
Low on self control?

Or is it Esthmir Nevermore,
The secret hero of the day?

Or maybe it is ThePoeticDragon,
The poet with a heart larger than the sun?

It is neither one of these,
Nor none of these,
For they are each a part of me,
A part of Jared Sweeten.
